Gina Sabatino, MA, LPC, NCC
Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
Gina is a graduate of Caldwell University with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling & Art Therapy. Gina is a National Certified Counselor and recently obtained certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional. Her previous clinical experience includes working in outpatient programs for adults struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Some of her most rewarding work has been with court-mandated adults on probation, parole, and those enrolled in the Drug Court program.
In addition, Gina has worked in the school systems of at-risk communities with children and families affected by substance use within the home. Gina incorporates mindfulness and creativity into both the individual and group settings. She encourages her clients to learn self-awareness and explore expressing their feelings in new and unique ways. Encouraging clients to put the necessary work into their recovery and reinforcing accountability are priorities in Gina’s clinical directives. Her empathetic and motivational approach sets the groundwork for the principle that every client is capable of recovery if they are willing to put in the work, build a support system, and be open to new opportunities and perspectives.
