After careers in corporate and the military, Pat became a Licensed Associate Counselor and joined Absolute Awakenings in 2020. Personal, confidential and interactive describe the way he practices psychotherapy. Helping clients to unlock their prisons of addiction, Pat enjoys seeing them achieve greater control of their lives through the freedoms of sober living. Pat is a retired US Air Force veteran and has experience working with veterans with co-occurring mental health disorders and PTSD.
Pat graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is working on his Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor credentials. As a primary therapist, Pat prefers an integrated approach using Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. He encourages and supports his client’s journeys of self-discovery with the goal toward embracing their future by helping draw on their strengths and resources to solve their own problems.
