Patrick Tansey, LAC, MA
Patrick is our Lead Clinician. He has over ten years of experience working with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Patrick graduated from Montclair State University (MSU) in 2015 with a Master’s of Counseling specializing in Addiction Counseling and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate. He graduated with honors and was a member of Chi Sigma Lota, an international and professional academic honor society for counseling students, counselor educators and professional counselors.
In 2018, Patrick returned to MSU to complete the Advanced Counseling Certificate Program. He is a Licensed Associate Counselor working on his Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor credentials. In counseling, Patrick utilizes an eclectic approach using techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy.
