Substance Abuse
Absolute Awakenings offers comprehensive substance abuse programs designed to help individuals overcome addiction and reclaim their lives. Our evidence-based approach combines personalized therapy, medication-assisted treatment, and holistic wellness practices to address the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of addiction.
Alcohol addiction (alcoholism) is one of the most prevalent forms of substance abuse. Our treatment program addresses both the physical dependence and the psychological aspects of alcohol addiction. With a blend of medical detox, therapy, and support groups, we offer a path to recovery that’s sustainable and compassionate.
Prescription drug addiction, including misuse of medications such as benzodiazepines, stimulants, and other pain relievers, requires careful management. Our protocol includes careful detoxification protocols, therapeutic interventions, education, and relapse prevention strategies.
Stimulants like cocaine and methamphetamine can be highly addictive and damaging. We offer a host of treatments, including behavioral therapies and supportive measures, to help clients overcome the unique challenges presented by stimulant addiction.
Despite its growing legality, cannabis can be addictive. We devise personalized treatment plans to help individuals understand their usage patterns, address any underlying issues, and develop healthier coping strategies.
Dual-Diagnosis
At Absolute Awakenings Treatment Center, we understand the intricate relationship between substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Recognizing this co-occurrence, we provide a comprehensive Dual Diagnosis Treatment program that simultaneously addresses both issues. Our specialized care helps individuals struggling with addiction untangle the web of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more, that can often underpin and perpetuate their substance use.
Mental Health
Our primary mental health treatment program is dedicated to supporting individuals who are primarily struggling with mental health challenges. This patient-centric program is designed to help those battling conditions like major depressive disorder, various anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, complex trauma, and PTSD, among others.
As a common co-occurring disorder with addiction, depression can be a significant barrier to recovery if left untreated. Our evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), are implemented with the sensitivity and expertise needed to uplift and empower our clients.
The manifestations of anxiety vary widely, and so do our treatment strategies. We adopt approaches tailored to each person, integrating psychotherapy, stress management techniques, and group counseling to address anxiety in all its forms.
Bipolar disorder poses unique challenges in substance abuse treatment. Our approach involves mood stabilization, comprehensive therapy, and ongoing support to help individuals achieve a stable and drug-free life.
PTSD and addiction are often interlinked. We provide trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and trauma-focused psychotherapy to facilitate healing.
